Lake Oconee has gotten 5 inches of rain in the past week, but it hasn’t slowed down the Oconee Crappie fishing at all. The cooler water has increased fishing activity and long line trolling is now in full swing. We really enjoy this style of fishing because it gives us the chance to have all the rods load up when we move over a school. Everyone can get in on the action and it’s really great for kids because they can watch the rods and when it bends, crank them in!!
