The month of August always brings great Crappie fishing on Lake Oconee. Yes, it’s hot, but the morning trips are nice and we get back to the dock before all the recreational boaters take the the lake for their afternoon jogs. It is not unusual for us to boat 20 or more fish in just a half day. It’s also a lot of fun! Everybody is fishing with a top quality Band M rod and dipping it down into the trees, waiting on that bite. Now is a great time to book your trip.
